The fee for the weekend intensive is $300. This fee covers the cost for the pregnant woman and anyone else she chooses to bring to the class with her.

The fee for private teaching is $75/hour. I generally suggest 3 2-hour classes (6 hours total $450) for first-time parents and 2 2.5-hour sessions for second-time-around-parents (5 hours total--$375). My time for private teaching is very limited (Thursday nights, mostly), but I will try to work with you to schedule something if at all possible.

I offer a 10% discount for active military as well as reserve families. Just tell me which branch you or your spouse is serving in.

I always provide a receipt and certificate of completion you can use with your Flexible Spending Account or your health insurance reimbursement. Not all health insurance plans cover childbirth education classes.

Classes are held at my home in the Palisades section of Northwest Washington. There is ample street parking. (The Palisades is located just west of Georgetown).

While I am not Metro accessible, the D6 bus that runs from Union Station through downtown Washington and Georgetown stops very close to the house. If you live in northern Virginia, you could take either the Chain Bridge or Key Bridge to get to my neighborhood. If you live in Maryland, it is quite easy to get to my house from the Beltway or from Military Road/Nebraska Avenue.

Upon registration, I will send driving or bus directions.
